What's Your Day? is a fundraising initiative for Big Sisters of Sarnia-Lambton to help us continue to provide essential mentoring and guidance to girls across our community.
The purpose of this initiative is to celebrate each donor Big Sisters has, by rewarding supporters who give $100 to the organization, a single day in 2011 all to themselves!
Big Sisters understands how important its donors are - so finding a unique means to say 'thank you' is essential in ensuring those supporters know how much of a difference their assistance makes. The Programs offered by Big Sisters - and the incredibly positive impact they have on the girls of the Sarnia-Lambton community - could not be possible without the generosity of every contributor to the Big Sisters organization.
The What's Your Day? initiative invites all individuals, groups or businesses in Sarnia-Lambton to donate $100 - and then select a day that you can call your very own! Perhaps you would like to mark a special day for yourself or someone you care about, such as a Birthday, Anniversary, Holiday or Memorial of a loved one - and you can do so by donating $100 to Big Sisters.
Your $100 donation to Big Sisters of Sarnia-Lambton includes the following recognition:
· Your Day listed on www.whatsyourday.com. Your listing includes your name (or the name of the person you would like to dedicate Your Day to), an image that you upload and a message that you write!
· On Your Day, an email will be sent to the What's Your Day? mailing list, complete with your name, image and message for other donors and supporters to see.
· On Your Day, a posting containing your name, image and message will be posted on the What's Your Day? Facebook Page for other donors and supporters to see.
· On Your Day, your uploaded image will be posted on the What's Your Day? Flickr Page for other donors and supporters to see.
· Your name will be listed in a 'Thank You' advertisement that will be placed in the Sarnia Observer within 14 days of Your Day!
· Your name will be mentioned in a 'Thank You' radio commercial that will run on 99.9 The Fox FM the week of Your Day!
· Your donation also comes with a charitable receipt from Big Sisters of Sarnia-Lambton.
Big Sisters of Sarnia-Lambton is dedicated to showing its supporters how important they are to the successful implementation of mentoring programs for girls in our community. What's Your Day? is a way for you, the donor, to know you are contributing to an essential service in the community, while being recognized for being a vital member of the Big Sisters family.

Big Sisters of Sarnia-Lambton is introducing a new fundraising initiative to raise awareness of the need for more Big Sisters, as well as funds to continue to support and expand the programs Big Sisters offers.
The ‘What’s Your Day?’ initiative is rewarding Big Sisters Supporters who make a $100 donation with the ability to reserve a single day in 2011 that is theirs and theirs alone! Each $100 donation will give the Supporter the chance
to be listed on our new online calendar website - www.whatsyourday.com. Mark a birthday, anniversary, memorial
or any day at all by donating $100 to Big Sisters and having your day, name, picture of your choice and comment be listed on www.whatsyourday.com.
We are asking you, an avid Big Sisters Supporter for two things:
1) Consider making a donation to Big Sisters and getting YOUR own day! All money goes toward the operations of Big Sisters and its programs.
2) Spread the word! This initiative will only succeed if we have your support and participation! Ask friends, family
members or those impacted by mentoring in the past to donate and get their day. Big Sisters wants our community
members to be a part of this original opportunity!
In addition to having your day, month, or the year secure, an image and comment of your choice on the website,
Supporters will also be listed in the Sarnia Observer and thanked on 99.9 The Fox FM!
