Kathy Alexander, Executive Director of Big Sisters of Sarnia Lambton, has recently announced she will be resigning, effective October 5th, 2011. At this time, the Board of Directors and Staff would like to express our gratitude to Kathy for her numerous contributions to the Big Sisters organization. Kathy joined Big Sisters in 2005 after relocating to Sarnia with her husband Tony and her dedication to the organization yielded immediate results that benefited - and continue to benefit - girls across Sarnia-Lambton. Kathy's leadership has directed the creation of new programs, fundraising initiatives and strategic goals for Big Sisters. Additionally, Kathy was instrumental in the joint application effort of Big Sisters, Big Brothers and Rebound to Dow for their Legacy Fund project which ultimately helped build The Dow Centre for Youth. Kathy's hard work and dedication have helped ensure a bright future for the youth in our community. We want to thank Kathy for all her contributions both professionally and personally, as she's touched so many lives, and we wish her every success in her new role. Respectfully, Erin Hogan President of The Board of Directors Big Sisters of Sarnia-Lambton
