I am thrilled to announce that the Big Sister Show & Sale wasa huge success! The Show & Sale is our largest fundraiser of the year and all of the proceeds raised make a BIG difference and support our mentoring programs. We could not doit without the wonderful support we receive each and every year. There are so many people I would like to thank:

Lots of changes in the office! Tamara Moran, one of our
Caseworkers will be starting her maternity leave in January – we wish her and her family all the best with their new addition!! Kaylen Burgess will be coming back from Maternity leave and is our new full-time caseworker – Congratulations and Welcome back Kaylen! Melissa Matthews will be staying on with us to cover Tamara's maternity leave as part time
caseworker. We will have a new Executive Director ap-
pointed in January, and we were sad to see Donna Moore, who was our receptionist/accounting/senior administrator for over 22 years, leave us in November, we wish her all the best in her new endeavour. Rachel Runstedler has accepted the position to replace Donna combined with Group Coordinator for Big Bunch and Sister Circle activities. I will be leaving the agency as of December 21st, and thank everyone for the wonderful experience over this past year with Big Sisters.

Annual Christmas Party

Ho Ho Ho!!! It is that time of year again! It is time for our annual Big Sisters
Christmas Party. We will have a delicious homemade Turkey dinner and all the
fixings, a craft and a special gift for each girl from Santa himself. We hope all of
our matches, Big Bunch groups, and waiting list kids can attend. Please call by
noon December 6th to sign up.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR VOLUNTEERS!
We need every volunteer with our organization to do an Accessibility Training immediately. This is mandated by the federal government . All volunteers will need to read a short pamphlet and then answer 5 multiple choice questions. After completing the training sign and date that you have completed the training and return the form to the office. Please contact the office immediately as this needs to be completed by Jan. 1st 2012.

Big Sisters Adora Spa Raffle
Big Sisters has teamed up with Adora Spa to do a fundraiser! Adora spa as generously given us 3 amazing spa packages to give away! We need your help to sell the tickets. The tickets are sold for $5 each and the prizes are incredible. Please see the picture below for the list of prizes. All the proceeds for the raffle will come right to BigSisters. This will help us serve you better. Please contact the office to arrange a pick up of a bundle of tickets you can sell to your friends, family or co-workers. Thank you in advance :)
